Nursing Live: get free tickets now to be part of unique festival

Live entertainment, well-being activities, development opportunities and clinical practice demos will all be under one roof in this, the first event of its kind

Free tickets for Nursing Live, an innovative two-day celebration of nurses and nursing, are now available.

The event, on 10 and 11 November at the ACC in Liverpool, will bring together thousands of nurses from around the UK. Admission is free to registered nursing professionals and nursing students.

Featuring more than 100 expert talks, clinical demonstrations, and even free yoga sessions, the first-of-its-kind event will be packed with masterclasses for nurses at every stage in their career.

Influential speakers will be there, including three of the UK’s chief nursing officers: Dame Ruth May (England), Sue Tranka (Wales) and Maria McIlgorm (Northern Ireland), along with Nursing and Midwifery Council chief executive Andrea Sutcliffe.

Nurses’ well-being will be focus of Nursing Live

Organisers say Nursing Live’s holistic focus on supporting nurses’ mental well-being is what sets it apart from other events in the nursing calendar. With this in mind, there will be sessions offering guidance on mental and physical health, as well as discussions about the importance of peer support, asking for help, and prioritising self-care. Nurses will be able to enjoy lifestyle activities designed for nursing professionals.

Nursing Live’s vibrant Festival Zone will be a hub of live entertainment, socialising, and informal networking.

There will be an in-depth look at topics such as leadership and empowerment, medicines management, technology and digital health, social care, student nursing, and international nursing.

And themed zones devoted to med-tech, pharmaceuticals and medical devices will allow nurses to see close-up the latest developments in all aspects of patient care.
