Welcome investment in dementia research could lead to a step change in our understanding

The prime minister recently announced up to £150 million of funding to create the UK’s first dementia research institute. Led by the Medical Research Council, the institute will bring together leading experts in dementia research, and put the UK at the forefront of global research efforts.
