Prime minister Theresa May has made it clear that she will follow through on the referendum result. Despite supporting Remain before the referendum, ‘Brexit means Brexit’.

For everybody living and working in the UK the world has changed. Those who voted Remain, as I did, have deep concerns for the future. But all of us in the nursing profession, regardless of which way we voted, need to follow closely what is happening and recognise the potential impact on health care and nursing.
