This is an informative reference guide to many pathologies, illnesses and some minor injuries that doctors, nurse practitioners, paramedics and other allied health professionals are likely to deal with in their daily practice. Laid out in a logical way, this easy to follow guide to body systems outlines red flags, risk factors, causes, assessment, diagnostics and management of these conditions.

While it is informative and easy to use, this book is fairly basic, and is not as exhaustive as other available texts for a similar price in terms of the range of conditions, pathologies and illnesses covered.

Also, it may not be useful for revision by newly qualified practitioners or students because it lacks the anatomical, physiological and pathophysiological depth needed to support or refresh new learning.
