Book Review: Dermatology Made Easy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Full of essential facts and information, this text supports the diagnosis, testing and treatment of an array of dermatological conditions.

The reader is introduced to the subject via a written and visual account of associated terminology. Differential diagnosis is clarified in terms of symptoms, morphology and body site.

Subsequent chapters follow a logical approach and cover infections, non-inflammatory conditions, skin lesions, investigations and treatments. Each chapter is further divided into sub sections including for example eczema, dry and ageing skin, vitiligo, moles, cysts and cancers.

This edition would be an asset for medical students and nurse practitioners as well as being a useful resource for GP surgeries and dermatology departments.

I would recommend this excellent clinical resource.
