As a nurse how do you feel about vaccinations? Did you choose not to have your COVID-19 jab at first but later changed your mind?

Nursing Standard wants to hear UK nurses’ opinions on vaccinations, including for COVID-19 and the flu, and whether your stance has changed over the course of the pandemic.

Debate around mandatory vaccinations

The government divided opinion last year when it announced mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for healthcare staff, which it later rolled back. Many nurses were not against getting the jab, but were against the government mandating it.

The decision to make the vaccination mandatory in social care led to the resignations of some social care nurses.

Is your personal protective equipment fit for purpose?

Nursing Standard would also like to know about nurses’ most recent experiences of using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Are you happy with the PPE provided to you, or is there room for improvement around comfort and safety?

This short survey is open to all UK nursing staff and takes just a few minutes to complete. The deadline for responses is 5pm on 15 August.
