Tributes paid to Birmingham City University nursing student

Tributes have been paid following the death of a 'well-liked and committed' nursing student.

Sally Cooper, who was a nursing student at Birmingham City University and a bank auxiliary nurse at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, died last weekend.

Birmingham City University associate head of the school of nursing and midwifery Michael Adams said: ‘Sally was a well-liked and committed nursing student. I have been inundated with messages from staff upset by this news, all saying what a kind and caring person Sally was.

‘We extend our deepest condolences to Sally’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with them at this time.’
