Sex discrimination: male healthcare assistant awarded nearly £35K
A healthcare assistant who was subjected to multiple violent incidents and felt unsafe at work has been awarded nearly £35K after winning a sex discrimination case. Employment tribunal against Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust found that its practice of assigning potentially violent patients to men rather than women was discriminatory
