Oral health

This is a summary of the peer-reviewed article: Promoting oral health for people with learning disabilities by Becky Williamson.  The article describes how people with learning disabilities are at risk of developing oral health issues. Education for healthcare professionals and carers, and tailored interventions such as desensitisation programmes and reasonable adjustments, are essential to improving oral health in this population.
