Learning from lived experience of learning disability
UK’s first honorary lecturer with a learning disability shares his insights with nursing students
Four years ago, Paul Taylor approached Bangor University in North Wales with the idea of sharing his experiences of living with a learning disability with nursing students.
They discussed how this might work in practice, then did some joint lectures to groups of around 60 nursing students from all fields, some online and some in person.
