As a second-year mental health nursing student, I recently spent two weeks in Italy working with a medical response team at a university sports event.
Students from across the UK had travelled there for the sports festival, and a UK medical company had been contracted to work at the event. When a friend told me about an opportunity to join the team, I thought it would be a great way to practise my nursing skills during the Easter break.
