RCNi is looking for a talented and successful senior editorial designer to join our award-winning team.
We publish Nursing Standard magazine, along with a suite of other journals and products online and in print, that aim to inspire and support the nursing workforce.
Nursing Standard was this year recognised as a ‘shining example of excellence in the industry’, receiving the coveted PPA Chairman’s Award for its COVID-19 resource centre, campaigning and product development.
We’re looking for someone to lead on the design of our print and online products, as well as promotional materials, and manage a small team of designers.
You must have a strong background as an editorial designer, ideally with previous experience working in a fast-paced, creative and deadline-driven environment. You will have knowledge of all relevant software packages for print and web.
The overall aims of the role are to:
- Provide leadership to the design team
- Create designs for RCNi products
- Maintain design identity across all RCNi products
- Contribute to development of one-off and new projects
RCNi has an office in central London but fully supports agile and flexible working practices. Please note, the role will initially involve remote working while pandemic restrictions are in place.
