Sue is a healthcare consultant. With a clinical background in nursing, Sue has worked in a national role since 1991 and spent 18 years as a policy and practice adviser at the RCN, initially for district nursing and then for long-term conditions. Following this, she set up Neurological Commissioning Support, a unique commissioning support organisation for the voluntary sector, and took this to NHS England niche-provider status in 2014. Sue has been an expert adviser to numerous national strategic work streams and given evidence to many national strategic reviews including those undertaken by all-party parliamentary groups and the House of Commons Committee of Public Accounts. Sue has led service transformation projects in primary and secondary care and provided commissioning mentorship.
