This study explores the moderating role of family support on body image satisfaction and psychological distress among patients with dermatology issues. The findings show that dissatisfaction with body image has a negative effect on stress, anxiety and depression, whereas family support appears to have a positive effect on stress and anxiety. The authors conclude that patients experiencing dermatological issues may benefit from counselling that involves their family.
