Uber is once more offering discounted transport and meals to NHS nurses working over the festive period.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, UK health service staff can claim two trips worth up to £10 each to and from work, plus a £10 meals or grocery delivery via the Uber Eats app.

Fifth year of festive discounts for front-line staff

This will be the fifth year Uber has run a festive offer for front-line staff over the holidays, with 130,000 people taking advantage in 2020.

Uber UK and Ireland general manager Ash Kebriti said: ‘Almost two years into the pandemic, everyone that works for the NHS or Health and Social Care (HSC) deserves support more than ever as they continue to work tirelessly to keep us safe.’

Eligibility for nurses’ Christmas Uber offer

The offer is open to all NHS staff in England, Scotland and Wales, and HSC staff in Northern Ireland.

To be eligible, you need an NHS or HSC email address.

Staff need to ensure that an Uber account is linked to their NHS or HSC email, and users will then be sent a promotional code to claim the offer.
