Singer Paloma Faith pays tribute to 'incredible' NHS staff after birth of first child
The nurses and midwives who cared for Paloma Faith during the recent birth of her first child have received a heartfelt letter from the singer thanking them.
Singer Paloma Faith has paid tribute to 'incredible' NHS nurses, midwives and doctors following the birth of her first child.

The artist, whose songs include Picking up the Pieces and Stone Cold Sober, had an emergency caesarean at London's University College Hospital (UCH).
In a heartfelt letter posted on the social media site Instagram, Ms Faith told her fans she was ‘over the moon, in love and delighted’ with the new arrival.
NHS praise
‘What a trip! It was all with the help of some incredible doctors, nurses and midwives at UCH' she wrote in the letter, posted on Monday.
'The devotion, kindness and commitment shown by all of them was second to none and I am humbled by the whole experience.

‘I really believe the NHS to be one of the great achievements of this country and it should be respected and protected by all.
‘So thank you to the NHS, Melissa Witten, Georgia Seiti, Wendy Hill, in the Fetal Assessment Unit and the Maternity Care units and God bless the NHS.’
Gratitudes
It is not the first time a famous singer has expressed their gratitude to UCH staff. In 2009, Canadian star Martha Wainwright went into premature labour while on tour in the UK.
She brought son Arcangelo to visit five nurses at the neonatal clinic in 2013, where she surprised them all with front row tickets to one of her concerts.
