Aim and intended learning outcomes

The aim of this article is to enhance the reader’s knowledge and understanding of eczema. Although eczema is very common in children and forms part of a triad of conditions known as atopy (a genetic predisposition to asthma, hayfever and eczema) this article will focus on the management of eczema in adults.
