Time is running out for the vote to select the winner of the Patient’s Choice award in the RCNi Nurse Awards 2019.

The five nurses in the running for the award were nominated by patients and their families and have been chosen for the exceptional care they have provided.

Vote now

Every nominee's story is inspiring. There is the nurse who helped a young woman diagnosed with cancer; the mental health nurse who supported a service user 'out of the darkness' after she was admitted to a secure unit. One nurse supported bereaved spouses, another assisted socially isolated men to meet up and enjoy meaningful activities. Finally, there is the nurse who supported someone to recover from the mental and physical trauma of a road accident.

Voting closes at midnight on 14 June, and the winner will be announced at the RCNi Nurse Awards 2019 ceremony in London on 3 July.
