Online access to RCN research conference now available

Something of interest for every nurse as international nursing conference speeches go online

Nurses can now access presentations from an international research conference on topics relating to the profession and wider healthcare.

Talks from the annual RCN international nursing research conference, which took place in Birmingham in April, are now available on the college's website. They include a speech by keynote speaker Cardiff University professor of nursing Davina Allen, whose subject was the changing role of nurses.

There are presentations on issues such as the NHS workforce and financial stability and a talk by RCN general secretary Janet Davies. Poster and oral presentations on a huge range of topics are also available.

RCN research and innovation manager Ann McMahon said: 'The conference covered some pertinent topics and so there will be something of interest to every nurse, whatever their field of practice.'
