Jennifer Moore outlines changes she made to classic grounded theory to adapt it to contemporary educational research

While undertaking a qualitative exploration of the role of lecturers in helping with problem-based learning, the author used an adapted form of classic grounded theory as a guiding methodology. This paper outlines the reasons for the suitability of classic grounded theory for this research and why adaptations were necessary to use it in practice.
