This award is an opportunity for members of the public to thank a nurse, midwife, health visitor, healthcare assistant or assistant practitioner who has made a difference to their or a loved one's care.

|Arches district nursing team, Belfast Belfast Health and Social Care Trust
This team has been nominated by Janette Connor. She says: ‘I have a rare disease that means I have over 200 skin ulcers dressed daily by the district nurses for the last two years.
|Joan Pons Laplana, NHS England
Joan Pons Laplana has been nominated by Graham Rodgers who nearly died from a stroke due to Covid-19.
|Joan Newberry, Friends’ School Lisburn
Joan Newberry was nominated by Josh Hannigan who says she always goes above and beyond for him and all the other pupils at the Friends’ School Lisburn in Northern Ireland.
|Chloe Hammond, Radis Community Care
John and Eileen Hullett have nominated Chloe for her exceptional care of their son Johnny, who has cerebral palsy and profound learning disabilities.
|Chloe Ball, Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust
Mental health staff nurse Chloe was nominated by Mizata Kamara for ‘changing her life and giving her the prospect of a future’.
The Patient’s Choice winner will be decided by a public vote and the winner will be announced at the RCN Nursing Awards ceremony on 10 November at Liverpool Cathedral.
