Healthcare assistant, Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust

Link nurse Louise has improved and developed infection control practices in a specialist inpatient assessment, as well treatment for people with learning disabilities and co-existing mental health problems. She is an informative and decisive voice and ensures the multidisciplinary team is aware of trust policies and procedures, as well as implementing them. She regularly audits and helps develop procedures and audit tools to meet new challenges, and ensures staff are aware of the necessary infection control practices. Her work positively contributed to the organisations recent good Care Quality Commission rating.
