RCNi wins Digital Brand of the Year award

RCNi has won the prestigious award of Digital Brand of the Year for business media from the Professional Publishers Association.

Digital Brand of the Year winners

At an awards ceremony in London last night, our brand, which was launched in March, was praised for its ‘wonderful to use’ online platform.

RCNi beat competition from digital brands including The Economist, The Week Digital and theROOMedit to scoop the accolade.

RCNi, which replaced RCN Publishing as the brand for the independent publishing arm of the Royal College of Nursing, incorporated a vision to be a lifelong learning partner for nurses and to support them in patient care at every stage of their career.

It was launched with our new website – rcni.com – which brings together content from our wide range of nursing titles, including Nursing Standard and nine specialist journals.

It also includes the RCNi Portfolio, which helps nurses prepare for revalidation.

The judging panel said: ‘Our judges thought that this was an excellent example of a professionally executed re-branding exercise.

‘The platform is wonderful to use and the quality of the content provided is always high, while overall our judges were also impressed with the rounded approach taken to getting the business back to growth, along with the continual development across a growing portfolio of digital products.

‘A deserved and popular winner of this category for 2015.’
