A nurse has used the everyday tools of her trade to create a colourful artwork.
Tilda Shalof’s mural includes 10,000 clean medicine caps and lids, IV tubes and syringe covers.
Canadian nurse Ms Shalof has collected the items over her 28 years in nursing and created the artwork with the help of artist Vanessa Herman.
She told the Toronto Star newspaper: ‘I can use 100 of these in a day. Each one tells a story for me.’
Ms Shalof works at the intensive care unit in Toronto General Hospital, where the artwork now hangs.
