MS Trust launches awards to recognise excellence in nursing

Charity the MS Trust has launched new awards to recognise outstanding health professionals

Awards to recognise UK healthcare professionals who exemplify excellence in the care of patients with multiple sclerosis have been launched by the MS Trust.

The charity is encouraging MS specialist nurses to enter, as well as matrons, district and practice nurses. Awards will be given in ten categories including Outstanding MS Specialist Nurse.

Entries for the QuDos in MS Awards can be submitted until September 3 and the winners will be announced on November 7.

MS Trust director of service development Amy Bowen said: 'These awards will enable teams and individuals across the UK to be recognised for their efforts in improving the quality of care for people living with multiple sclerosis.'
