International nursing conference will focus on safe staffing

The International Council of Nurses (ICN) 2017 congress in Barcelona will focus on safe staffing, universal healthcare and development goals, with sessions planned on migration, human rights, disasters and pandemics.

Organisers have put out a call for abstracts on topics including patient-centred care, climate change, infectious and non-communicable diseases and mental health. 

The event will take place from May 27 to June 1 and abstracts can be submitted between May 16 and October 10 2016.
