Role of live simulations in learning disability nursing

This article discusses a collaborative project undertaken by learning disability nursing staff in which an interprofessional working environment was created for students of different health professions at the same university. The project involved setting up a live simulation workshop, in which students could practise essential communication skills with actors portraying patients with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
