'Sprainspotting' nurses recreate cult film poster

Nurse practitioners have posed for a poster inspired by the film Trainspotting to promote their new uniforms.
The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh recently updated the nurses' attire from light blue to dark blue.
Staff wanted a fun way to let colleagues and patients know about the change. Their solution was to recreate the poster of the cult film starring Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle.
The 1996 black comedy was set in Edinburgh, and a sequel is due to be released next year.
Clinical lead Sue Bagley said: ‘We want to show how friendly, fun and approachable the team are, and the link to Edinburgh through the film reference was an added bonus.
‘We have had lots of positive comments from staff, who have said they feel the nurses are now really visible.’
