Infirmary appeals for Twiddlemuff knitters
Woollen muffs help dementia patients relax

An appeal for knitters has been launched by Leicester Royal Infirmary’s emergency department (ED) to help dementia patients.
ED staff are calling on volunteers to knit multi-coloured woollen muffs named Twiddlemuffs to help patients relax.
Take home Twiddlemuffs
ED general manager Rachel Williams said: ‘Twiddlemuffs will be given out to inpatients with dementia to take home. We appeal to the public to put their skills to good use, print off our easy pattern and get knitting.’
