Grainne Cullen , Information Officers at the National Poisons Information Service (London)

In the second article on pesticides, Grainne Cullen and Frances Northall discuss the clinical features and management of insecticide poisoning

Insecticides are used in a variety of settings: on farms, in the workplace, in the home and garden and medicinally. In agriculture they are used to control insects that reduce productivity in livestock, destroy crops and carry diseases. Insecticides may be used in the workplace e.g. to kill cockroaches or fleas.
