Now into its fifth year, the Cancer Services Collaborative is one of the Modernisation Agency’s largest programmes. It supports local cancer network teams to better their service delivery by discovering where improvements can be made and making changes to practice. This article describes changes in practice to the role of the clinical nurse specialist in a breast cancer clinic made as a result of participation in the Collaborative.
