This article describes the setting up and running of an education programme which provides short courses for registered staff and healthcare support workers in an effort to develop professional networks across disciplines. These courses aim to reduce the theory-practice gap and help attendees to improve their patient care. Evaluation has shown that the majority of attendees have found the programme to be a success.
